Greetings, my fellow staff members. Today, I came across several categories that do not fit our category minimum. In one instance, my deletion template was removed, on the grounds that it was a universe category. I ask you, does this mean we can make an exception? I say no. We've said it many times, even prior to the staff's formation, that we must be uniform. Why, then, are we not enforcing our stated policy of having a minimum of seven characters to a category?
I propose that, instead of creating individual categories for each universe, we create a "Minor Universes" category for every one that doesn't fit the minimum. There are a great many pages that simply cannot qualify, as Spider-Man was a mere background character in some universes. The name proposed is, of course, a mere placeholder, so I openly accept suggestions for alternatives.
This is a rather small issue for a blog post, I realize, but it does require staff discussion, as if my proposal is accepted, it will involve a great deal of editing.
