This blog post is a Spider-Man Wiki staff discussion only. |
To my fellow Staff members, or any other user that would like to state their opinion, here is my first (and hopefully last) of my blogs addressing our issues within the wiki. I will follow Bighead’s plan, and start with small stuff.
Contents
Small Stuff[]
Deletion Criteria[]
I saw Tobalth asking Bookworm this question, and I think it would be something worth discussing. So, what are our Criteria for deleting a page? It would probably be something worth adding to the MoS.
Categories?[]
Do we need to clean up our categories? Are there some that need to be created or deleted?
Badges[]
This issue has been on the table for a long time, but it is one that needs to be addressed. If we come up with better names, I’m sure Bookworm could change them. Any Ideas? I’m still at a loss.
Monobook Issue[]
As you probably know, when using the Monobook page style, the home page looks pretty ugly. The problem is that what we have added has simply made the style obsolete. My opinion on this matter can be found on Bookworms blog, but I don’t believe we ever really came to a consensus on the issue.
I think that’s it for small stuff, so now we can move on to more pressing matters affecting the wiki.
Big Stuff[]
Disambiguation Pages[]
Lemon, you mentioned that you could take care of this, and that would be great, but we must discuss how we want them to look, and what we need to add to existing pages.
Poll and Featured Article[]
I suppose that at the end of every month, we can have a discussion regarding this question, then, Bookworm can make the necessary changes. So long as it’s okay with you Bookworm.
Allies Section[]
Bighead wanted me to create this on the main page, but he said he would have to create the pages first. Are we still going to do this? How will it be handled?
Comic Book Issue Pages[]
Most of these pages are empty, having only a picture on the page. Is someone willing to do the necessary research and/or reading to add to them?
Bighead’s disappearance[]
*Sigh*. We have already discussed this to a point, but Bookworm, we must have your word that you will be on frequently. If you will, then we should be able to count on you to get things done around here that require an admin. If you aren’t however, then we must discuss someone temporarily or even permanently becoming an admin. I really do believe he will return, but we can’t just cling on to that without taking action. For now, we must act as if he won’t be returning.
That’s really all I can think of for now, and I have a splitting headache (not to mention I’m a bit loopy) so there’s really no telling how this will turn out. If there’s something I missed, Please bring it up. I’m sure I missed a few things.
Thanks guys, I look forward to reading your responses.
