Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Like Carlyle possesses no metahuman powers.
Luke had a mechanical apparatus that was fused into his spinal cord when he purposely recreated the freak accident that fused Octavius's apparatus to his spinal cord in order to become the new Doctor Octopus.
His apparatus consists of four titanium arms that are controlled by his thoughts. Each arm is equipped with two, single-jointed pinchers, and can each move at a speed of 180 feet per second.
In addition to the benefit of four mechanically controlled limbs, the arms are capable of lifting eight tons each, making for a grand total of thirty-two tons if he uses all four arms at once. Carlyle also frequently uses his lower two mechanical arms as a pair of legs when he is not in combat, as the arms are capable of moving much faster than the average human.
