Josh Keaton was suppose to voice Spider-Man in the Marvel TV series The Avengers: Earth's Mightest Heroes for the two episodes he was in, and even had all his lines recorded, but were scrapped in favor of current Spider-Man voice actor, Drake Bell. Drake's lines were recorded, and dubbed over Josh's lines for both episodes.

Trivia[]

  • On DC's Young Justice, Josh Keaton voiced the character Black Spider, whose appearance, skills and equipment were based on Spider-Man, going so far as using his logo and Web-Shooters. This was likely done as a homage/reference to Spectacular Spider-Man as Young Justice's co-creator Greg Weisman was the co-developer and head writer for Spectacular Spider-Man, which Josh was cast as Spider-Man on, before starting work on Young Justice.
  • On YouTube via his YouTube account, Josh has three "volumes" of him reading infamous Spider-Man 60's Memes in his signature Spider-Man voice with one of them saying "What? I'm out of work!".
