The Frightful Four (of Earth-12041) are a team of supervillains who are frequently hired by Norman Osborn and Doctor Octopus to complete tasks for them.
History[]
In Great Power, the Trapster first fought Spider-Man, but he placed a tracer on him after Spider-Man took him down. Then the three members of the Frightful Four followed the tracer to Midtown High where they plan to capture Spider-Man. But luckily Peter manages to create a diversion by starting a food fight while he changes into Spider-Man. He manages to defeat them but they got away.
In Great Responsibility, the Frightful Four appears again in another attempt to catch Spider-Man. They manage to subdue him, but the Frightful Four were defeated by the arrival of the Team.
