Jimmy Natale (of Earth-616), better known as the Vulture, originally started out as a fixer for the mob. After undergoing a procedure that turned him into a human-vulture hybrid, James went rouge and became a cannibal who preyed on the weak and wounded.
History[]

Jimmy Natale was originally a fixer for the various mobs based in New York City whose job was to clean up the messes that others made. Over time, the workload became too much for him to handle, and he went to his superiors requesting help. He suggested picking a candidate to mutate into a human-vulture hybrid using the same technology that created the Scorpion and the Fly. However, under the impression that the operation would cause memory loss, he was chosen to be the candidate and was forcibly turned into a human vulture. He went rogue soon afterward and, having lost all memory of who he used to be, gave into his animal instincts and digressed to cannibalism, preying on the weak and wounded citizens of New York.
Vulture vs. the Punisher
He first encountered Spider-Man when he stumbled upon Vulture devouring one of his victims on a rooftop. His abilities took Spider-Man by surprise and he was forced to retreat after being temporarily blind by some of Jimmy's acid vomit. Later, Spider-Man lured Jimmy out and fought him in battle that took them to Yankee Stadium. After capturing him, he broke his arms t prevent him from flying away and left him for the police to find.
Electro, under the orders of Sasha Kravinoff, freed him from Rykers and let him run wild in the city to distract Spider-Man while the Kravinoffs prepared for Kraven's resurrection.. After being freed from prison, Jimmy began to remember things from his life as a fixer and came after the crime bosses involved in his creation. Scared for their lives, the crime bosses released information falsely accusing Mayor Jameson of being the mastermind behind James' transformation. Seeking revenge, Vulture came for him and killed one of his security staff while Jameson fled. Spider-Man tried to defeat Vulture but he was able to escape. He then targeted another crime boss involved in his creation and forced the truth out of him.
Later, Jimmy was hired by Doctor Octopus, along with other animal themed super villains, to help him capture Menace's newborn son.
Jimmy's returned to organized crime after being hired by the Exchange to kill the Punisher. unfortunately this return to organized crime was short lived as he was stabbed to death by the Punisher while attempting to eliminate him.

- Mandibles: Vulture mutation resulted in him having mandibles instead of a normal mouth.
- Acid Expulsion: He is able to spew an acid froth from his mouth that was capable of temporarily blinding Spider-Man.
- Superhuman Strength: Vulture was supposedly stronger then Spider-Man's as he claimed that in a contest of strength, Spider-Man would get tired long before he did.
- Flight: Like a real Vulture, James had wings that gave him the ability to fly.
Weaknesses[]
- Lack of Superhuman Durability: James appeared to lack any kind of significantly enhanced durability, as Spider-Man was able to break both his arms with a bear hug.
