HistoryEdit

Curtis Connors was born in Florida. He was a gifted surgeon who joined the U.S Army where his right arm was injured in a blast, resulting in amputaion. After his return to a normal life, Connors became obsessed with reptilian limb regeneration. When he finally made an experimental serum taken from reptile DNA, he regrew his right arm, however but at a price.

The Lizard is BornEdit

The side effect of his serum turned him into a tall, reptillian humanoid monster. Spider-Man went to Florida to investigate after he read newspaper reports about the Lizard. He then used Connors' notes to create an antidote turning him back to normal.

To New York CityEdit

Later, he moved to New York and repayed Spider-Man by developing a formula to save his aunt's life after a blood transfusion went wrong. But eventually, Connors was yet again turned into the Lizard and after a fight with Spider-Man, he was turned back to normal again.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Connors in his human form is highly intelligent and is a well-known scientist in fields of genetics, physics, biochemistry and herpetolog.

Lizard FormEdit

When in his Lizard form, his strength is increased greatly as is his speed, reflexes, stamina and agility all to levels that rival Spider-Man's. He can also communicate with other reptiles telepathy.

• Curtis Connors is seen in the first Spider-Man film trilogy with his right arm missing but no actual reference to him being or becoming the Lizard.
  • In Spider-Man 2, he mentions that he is a friend of Dr. Otto Octavius. 
  • In Spider-Man 3, he identifies the symbiote and warns Peter not to come into contact with it.
• In The Amazing Spider-Man, he is portrayed by Rhys Ifans. This was the first time that the Lizard has produced in film.
