Human Mutates refers to those individuals, of the human race, who were NOT born with DNA that is beyond that of an ordinary Human, but have had their DNA altered by an external mutagen at some point in their life. Individuals such as Kaine, Ben Reilly, and Spidercide, who are clones of Human Mutates, are also considered Human Mutates, even though their DNA was beyond that of a normals human at the moment of their creation, because unlike Mutants, they do NOT possess the X-Gene.
