Carnage (of Earth-1610) is a vampiric life-form created by Curt Conners and Ben Reilly from a combination of Connor's and Peter Parker's DNA.
History[]
Gwen's death at the hands of Carnage
After finding out that Peter Parker was Spider-Man, Dr. Curt Conners wanted to find a way to "help" him. He used Peter's DNA (which unfortunately also had traces of the Venom Symbiote in it as well) Curt created something entirely new, a life form that was forced to feed on others to survive, similar to a vampire.
When trying to find it's "father" Peter Parker, in Queens,it came across Gwen Stacy and killed her by sucking the life out of her. A devastated and angered Peter battled Carnage across the rooftops in the night, where they managed to land in an open intersection of the city. Carnage absorbed two surprised policemen,and morphed into a twisted replica of Peter's father, Richard Parker.
In a "final" confrontation, Peter gained the upper-hand, throwing Carnage down a smokestack into open flame, and supposedly killing it.
Death[]
Carnage reappears in the form of a cloned Gwen Stacy, and during an encounter with Venom, Venom absorbs the Carnage symbiote into itself. Making Venom "complete", and killing Carnage for good.

- In the Ultimate Spider-Man video game, Carnage is created when Adrian Toomes injects Spider-Man with a serum to force the cells of the Venom symbiote to multiply. The Venom cells quickly overtake Peter Parker and he becomes Carnage. After the Carnage symbiote releases itself from Peter, Carnage symbiote battles Venom. Carnage loses, and Venom absorbs Carnage, gaining full control over his symbiote and becomes more powerful then ever.
- In Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Ultimate Carnage makes an appearance as a final boss for Ultimate Peter Parker trying to destroy the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier and everyone on it.
