Aunt May or May Parker, is Peter Parker's aunt and one of his greatest supporters. She was the wife of Uncle Ben. As of right now, she knows that Peter is Spider-Man, along with the rest of America. May was shot by a hired assassin of Kingpin's. Peter took her to a hospital and her wound was treated there. After Mary Jane had told Peter that she was running out of money, they moved her to a less expensive hospital. May Reilly Parker, commonly known as Aunt May, is a supporting character in Marvel Comics' Spider-Man series. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, she first appeared as May Parker in Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962).

In the main story continuum, Aunt May is aunt-by-marriage and adoptive mother of Peter Parker, who leads a secret life as Spider-Man. She is nurturing and supportive of Peter although, throughout most of Spider-Man's history, she does not know of his secret life and considers Spider-Man frightening.

An important part of the Spider-Man series, she has appeared in most other media adaptations of the character. May dies in the 20 issue from a mugger
